LowtherBrothers LLC is a Minnesota real estate development company. The gents in the picture above started the business in 1994 by chipping in on a 10-plex apartment building in Minneapolis. We renovated that building inside and out, moved on to another investment, then another, until today we own or are partners in all the properties and businesses shown in these pages.

We don’t have a Mission Statement. We don’t have a Vision Statement. But we do follow a simple rule: buy things and make them better. We improve every property we own – fixing things that don’t work, enhancing the site’s appearance, or building something new. This brings more business to stores in our centers, which is good for everyone.

Each Lowther brother has a particular role in our business. We have a big-picture guy, a detail follow-up guy, a repair and renovation guy, someone who finds tenants for empty stores, and, of course, an attorney. You can meet us on the following pages and find out who to contact for what.
